Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our Sea Dog Brewing - South Portland team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of beverages, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and beverage regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with food service and catering as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including brewing techniques
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Proficiency in operating a POS system is an asset
